Immediate opening: cement mason (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cement mason in Wayne County, Indiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
