Steel erection rigger • Gunnison County, Colorado

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Gunnison County, Colorado. The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
