Stainless steel welder — Polk County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Polk County, Texas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
