Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Murray County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Murray County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
