Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
