Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Haakon County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
