The role involves greet guests, seat them and present the menu; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; check back during the meal and handle special requests; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager.
