Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Leflore County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
