Steel fixer wanted in Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Polk County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
