Commercial refrigeration engineer • Gilliam County, Oregon

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Gilliam County, Oregon. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
