Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Onondaga County, New York. The role involves load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading. Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
