Gas installation technician wanted in New York County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in New York County, New York. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Six days a week, one day off.
