Metal caster • Chippewa County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Chippewa County, Michigan. The role involves: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
