Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Greene County, Missouri. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Rotating shifts.
