Refrigeration service engineer — Western Connecticut Planning Region

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. On the job you will handle: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter You should have: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
