Immediate opening: gas pipeline fitter (South Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Dorchester County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day to day you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
