You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day to day you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
