Bricklayer wanted in Plymouth

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Plymouth, England. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder 5+ years on the tools preferred. £150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
