Automotive paint technician • City of Virginia Beach, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based in a spray booth. Day to day you will strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss. Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
