You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time, day shift.
