Aluminium TIG welder • Colleton County, South Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Colleton County, South Carolina. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
