Ladle pourer • Crenshaw County, Alabama

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will work on the moulding line. Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Part-time with flexible hours.
