Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Davison County, South Dakota. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
