Aluminium workshop fabricator wanted in Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in Shelby County, Illinois. You will be based on a commercial shopfront installation. You will read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish; install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. You should have: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
