Acoustic insulation fitter • Mackinac County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Mackinac County, Michigan. Day to day you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
