Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Geauga County, Ohio. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
