Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel On a typical shift you will wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks.
