Now hiring: we are hiring a food and beverage server in South Gloucestershire, England. You will work in a coffee shop. Your main tasks: • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager You should have: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
