Aluminium fitter — Mathews County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Mathews County, Virginia. The job is in a fabrication and glazing factory. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Day-to-day duties: • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws Meals and transport allowance provided.
