Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Desha County, Arkansas. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
