We are recruiting: we are hiring a nursery worker in Vermilion County, Illinois. The job is in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
