Vertical transportation technician wanted in Concordia Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a lift modernisation project. You will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
