Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
