Vacancy available: structural MIG welder (Montana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Sanders County, Montana. On a typical shift you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Full-time with occasional weekends.
