We are recruiting: sample machinist (Vermont)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Washington County, Vermont. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
