Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble cutter in Palo Alto County, Iowa. The job is in a stone processing yard. Your main tasks: • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar You should have: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists We offer $10,250 per project plus benefits.
