Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Addison County, Vermont. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
