Stainless steel welder — Quitman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Quitman County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
