Now hiring: GMAW welder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Fulton County, Kentucky. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
