Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in Bourbon County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Day to day you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
