CO2 welder wanted in Currituck County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
