Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Pike County, Georgia. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
