Forklift driver — City of Emporia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a forklift driver in City of Emporia, Virginia. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required Day-to-day duties: • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris • Assist with stock takes and cycle counting Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
