Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Yankton County, South Dakota. Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
