Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Cherokee County, Georgia. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
