Great opportunity: skimming plasterer (Minnesota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Dakota County, Minnesota. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Your main tasks: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Full-time, day shift.
