Blocklayer wanted in Houston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Houston County, Texas. The job is at a renovation and extension job. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Six days a week, one day off.
