Core maker wanted in Moultrie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Moultrie County, Illinois. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 5+ years on the tools preferred.
