Great opportunity: we are hiring a RCC mason in Catawba County, North Carolina. The role involves screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
