Turning centre operator wanted in San Diego County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in San Diego County, California. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
